Can I withstand boredom and habit changes for 30 days?

What was the last time you were bored, and you had nothing to do other than being more bored? That’s how I am trying to make myself feel over these 30 days.

Hello friends, we have been so feed up by the algorithms that we don’t even feel bored anymore. It could be that we would be bored for not a long time, we have already covered ourselves with relentlessly scrolling the feed of social media that would provide us the most irrelevant and most Un-useful content that we unknowing love the most. If asked though we would deny that any effects are being done by the social media to us, but the truth is far away from the truth.

My current condition. Day 2 of 30.

I have decided to go and pursue some level of boredom in my life and see how it takes me. Also, to make the task even more hard, I have decided to integrate the following rules in my life for these 30 days:

Rule 1: No social media usage.
Rule 2: No entertainment media consumption. YouTube, Spotify, Podcasts, and entertainment media like movies, series are allowed.
** I have allowed myself to consume YouTube only for studying the course content. Also, I have blocked my news feed.
Rule 3: Study every day for at least 2 hours.
Rule 4: No form of junk food is allowed.
Rule 5: One hour of exercise every day is most.
Rule 6: No food is allowed between morning and evening meal.
Rule 7: No form of higher external stimulations are allowed. No Pornographic based media and literature consumption is allowed.
Rule 8: Unnecessary chats and talks with people is also not allowed.

This is June 01, 2023. I have officially started the challenge. Should I say challenge or experiment?? First day and I have not felt anything. I did work for about 3 hours. Working without distraction also seems hard.

Day 2, It’s 0900P and I am feeling my headache. I have controlled my urge to not break the rules till now. I see everyone around me being fed up with scrolling the feed and it’s hard to control the urge to not do as they are doing.
